Привет! Welcome to my profile :) My name is Katherine (or Kathy) and I am a Freshman in my first year of college. I attend Arizona State University, the largest university in the USA. I'm currently working on a major in Russian Linguistics and a minor in Slavic Studies :)
My /real/ hobbies (outside of school) are many, but here are a few: reading fantasy and classic books, listening to European power metal, hanging with my friends (we're lazy bums), playing World of Warcraft, walking about, and of course, Post Crossing!
In my Junior year of college I plan on studying in St. Petersburg for, hopefully, a full year. It's one of my biggest dreams to travel to Europe and especially to Russia ♥ I've been in love with the country since the 8th grade and this fascination has led me to pursue a degree in its language! If you're from Russia or another Slavic country I would be more than happy to be penpals!! :) I would also love to have snailmail buddies from all over the world! ^^
