Hello, I'm Karin, aged 45 years, mother of two adult sons. I'm living in a small town near the lake Traunsee. Our region is called Salzkammergut and it is certainly one of the most beautiful places in Austria. The Salzkammergut is well known for its lakes and mountains, but also for its habitants, who have their own culture and customs. The Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph, husband of the famous Empress Sissy, has had his summer residence in our region from 1854 until 1914. Due to those facts many tourists visit our region.
My hobbies are mountainbiking, nordic walking and sailing in summer, and skiing and also nordic walking in winter, I like nature and animals very much. I also like to read good books and to see sophisticated films. My absolute favourite town is Venezia/Italy, I cannot get enough of it. I like every kind of postcard, but I prefer cards from Venice, beautiful landscapes, the colour blue and interesting people! Thank you very much!
