My favorite part of Postcrossing is choosing postcards to send. For myself, I love the surprise in the mail and the addition to the collection, so I will like ANYTHING you send! I also love to look at the stamps. Please put the date on the postcard. That is the best part of old postcard collections: seeing when they were sent!
If, like me, you enjoy the hunt for the postcard to send, I love Atelier Nouvelles Images (http://www.nouvellesimages.com/Postcards_Atelier-Nouvelles-Images_rg~1), Inge Löök, people, local art, non-English words/poems, skylines, pretty places, chickens, foxes, squirrels, Hello Kitty, song birds, cats, calendars, maps, politicians and royalty, ANYTHING. I love holiday cards, even if it's nowhere near the holiday. I love seeing pretty/interesting stamps. I'd love to get one of the Pantone, The Onion, Yoga Cats, or Charley Harper postcards.
I'm particularly interested in postcards from The Netherlands, because that's where my ancestors are from. (They came to the U.S. in 1847.)
