I love to learn about new places. But I'm really not picky at all. I will appreciate anything, but please write a note also. And if you could, write a teeny something in your native language like 'hello' or something simple. :D
Preferably, if you send an ad card, try to send one that has something written in your language (or at least not in English). Other than that, I don't mind receiving those types of cards.
