I have had to postpone Postcrossing for a while because it was getting too expensive. But I am keeping up my profile because I intend to start again some day. If you have sent me a card, and I haven't registered it, please send me the ID and I will do so. Thank you. Sorry I haven't responded in the past.

I was born and raised here in Pasadena, California for my whole 24 years. I like the Harry Potter books, collect anything having to do with Giant Pandas, and I enjoy doing many varied craft projects including knitting, cross stitching, scrapbooking, and glue booking. I just started doing ATCs as well.

I am a huge fan of fantasy/fiction and sometimes science fiction. If you have a suggestion for a good book, please send it my way. I know a little Spanish, but I'm not fluent. Outside of the US, I've traveled to Italy, Mexico, and Canada, which were all beautiful.

My family includes my sister (adopted from the Ukraine when she was a little over a year) who is seven years younger but only in numbers, not in maturity, my parents, two bunnies, a silly tuxedo cat named Boomer who lives with my grandmother, and our newest addition, a little hamster who used to be called Lucille but is now just called Ham. :) My boyfriend and I will celebrate 8 years on June 4th, 2011.

There are always stressful things in life, and the last few months have not been easy for several reasons, but my goal in life is to always be positive. I love to laugh and make others laugh.

I prefer cards:
-written and not in an envelope.
-National Park Photos from the US (especially Yellowstone! It is my favorite place in the world. I also love Yosemite.)
-with animals or landscapes from your area.
-Cartoons/Drawings/Art (Moomins, Kaj Stenvall, or local cartoon characters please :D)
-interesting architecture or landmarks.
-funny cards with sayings in your language (please translate on the back).
-holiday cards including any local celebrations.
-Homemade and Ad cards are fine but I'd prefer if it had something written in your language on it if you can.
