About Gwendolyn...
I’m Gwendolyn, 29 years old and live in the Netherlands. Haven't seen much of the world yet so postcrossing is my way to explore the world. Maybe I get some interesting travelling ideas by receiving postcards from places I wouldn't think of visiting. Besides that I love mail, not e-mail, but old-fashioned mail that's written by hand. I have several penpals in the Netherlands.
My biggest hobby is scrapbooking! I really really love doing that, make long-lasting projects with photo's. I try to make lay-outs which contain more than just a photo. So also the feelings etc. of the day of event.
I have a dog since januari 2009, a border collie. Love taking long walks with her and my boyfriend at the beach or the forest. Her name is Gila.
My boyfriend and I had our first child 02-02-2012 and his name is Ferron! That’s why I really love to receive some different kind of cards.
I possible please send me:
• Anything that has to do with children. Like kids of baby’s on the card. But I really like Children’s Book Illustrations as well. Maybe you know a children’s poem of song that I need to know?
Otherwise I would love to receive:
• The beauty of the nature (rainbows, mountains, rocks, volcanoes, lakes, waterfalls, rivers, seashore, deserts, national parks etc.)
• Black & White Photography
• Wonders of the world
• Harbours or ships
• Cards that shows fall, winter or spring
• In June I would like Birthday cards
• In December you can send me a Christmas card
I really love if you write something, if you don't know what to write. It is not hard. I love to read about the card, why did you chose this one, you can write me about your country, traditions of your country, about your life. What you did today, what the weather is like. Well just anything you want to say.
I like my card written and stamped, not in an envelope please. Please date the postcard before sending
Please no multiviews, no free or ad-cards. I really don't like them.
