Hi! I'm Carin from Holland and I'm a schoolteacher ( I teach children between 6-12 years old).
Like my work, but enjoy hollidays and weekends ;-)
Like to know about other places on this earth. How do people live, what do they think, or eat.....
Like all kinds of handicraft (knitting and crochet,embroider) and collect postcards from reading and writing women. Beautiful stamps .....funny and vintage postcards,all kind of languages (but please translate...)are very welcome.
Like cooking and gardening, walking along beaches and find shells,sticks and stones...take them home and put it in pots.
I'm 50 years now and looking forward to the second half of my life.....but this 'poastcard-thing' is also enjoying the moment,the present.....
After three months and all those beautiful postcards I do have favourites....
*Beautiful landscapes with mountains, snow, all kind of sunsets and -rises.
*Roses........in all kind of paintings and pictures.
*Cathedrals...
*Doors and windows.
*Strong women in history,movies or whatever. (I think about covering a door with those pictures.)
