Hi there! My name is Jeanique, I'm a 25 year old self-photographer from Alkmaar (in the west of The Netherlands). I live here with my love Emiel, who is a graphical designer, our 2 cats (Sterre & Koika) and our dog Benthe.

Photography is my passion #1, and taking selfportraits for me is a great way to express my emotions and the best therapy ever ;)
I just finished a 365 days project, in which I took a daily selfportrait for a year. Not the "mugshot" thing! Check out my site to see what I mean :) I also love to sing, and I just bought a second hand piano to play on. I never had lessons and can't read notes, so I adore the people that make Youtube tutorials ;)
I love listening to Damien Rice, Tori Amos, Jewel, Kate Bush, Antony & the Johnsons, Edith Piaf, Emilie Simon, Coco Rosie, Janis Joplin, band of horses, Bloc Party, Rise Against, Jeff Buckley, Regina Spektor and many more.
I also love reading, subversive cross stitch and to travel with my love and just see where the road takes us.

Hints for postcards I like:
I'm looking for postcards with the crying boys of Bragolin.
But even better are the ones with the gypsi woman http://www.inzichten.nl/kunst/images/torino.jpg of Torino!!
Also JW Waterhouse cards are really welcome, or cards of Tim Walker photos.
I love beautiful, cute, dreamy, colorful things, like monchichi, or retro cards, also art-cards will be great, or cards you made yourself :) I LOVE TO receive a Mark Ryden Card or cards with Blythe dolls on it!!
