About JayBee...

I live in a town in southern Connecticut. Most of my extended family lives nearby, which makes things easier as our parents get older and need more help. I work in a small accounting business. Family and work keep me (happily) very busy. I don’t have free time to do many other things I also love to do (visiting friends, being outside in nature, listening to all kinds of music, going to all kinds of museums, reading, learning to cook recipes from different countries, photography). Mostly I try to make time to take short walks in nearby parks and sometimes take photos there. Sending and receiving postcards brightens my day. And I love interesting stamps :) .

Suggestions of postcards to send, in random order:
views of your country, city, town, village
views of nature, landscapes, seascapes
interesting buildings, landmarks
historic places, museums, libraries
a card about your country's traditions, old and new
a card about your country's culture
typical scenes of people, typical industries and work
holidays, festivals and celebrations
animals, plants, birds, butterflies native to where you are
UNESCO World Heritage sites and Biosphere Reserves
a card about your interests, your thoughts, your work
a card of a favorite thing or place
a card that makes you smile

Each postcard I receive and each I send is special to me, so I don’t choose favorites among them, but I have chosen some favorites from the cards that others have sent and received.

Please write the date on the card, so that years from now when I look at it I will know when you sent it.

I look forward to getting your postcard and reading a message from you. Thanks!
