Hello.
My name is Yaroslav, I'm 36 years old and I live in Saint Petersburg. I work with military personnel and I'm very proud of it, and sometimes I try to protect the historical centre of my City from redevelopment. I must say that my English is really bad, so my friends help me with the postcards, and I'm very much obliged to them.
I have a cat called Minerva McGonagall, and in the past I had a dog called Laima (for me, collie is the best breed of dog) and an eared hedgehog called Zelenyj (Green), and in memory of him I collect the green hedgehogs (figurines, toys, pictures). I also have a collection of playing cards, cards for card-reading and geographical maps which I copy from fantasy books. I can play the piano a little and I want to learn to play the guitar. I read a lot, classical literature, fairy tales, legends, fantasy, science fiction and city fantasy. I like to go to the cinema with my friends.
I love my City very much, its sky which is all shades of grey, and the rains. I have very special attitude to the cities, I think they are animate beings which have their own intellect which we, humans, often don't understand. I like to imagine how one or another city would look like if it was human, and which personality would it have (like the countries in Hetalia). I also like esotericism, mystic, everything strange and obscure, maybe that's why I love TV series like "Doctor Who", "Torchwood", "The X-Files", "Supernatural", etc.
I would be glad to receive a postcard which is connected with any of my hobbies, or any postcard which you like. I appreciate selfmade postcards made of drawings and photos, because they usually have some individuality.
