About Rose...

Hello Everybody,

I´m Rose, 35 years old and I live in the center of The Netherlands in a town called Utrecht. I love sending and receiving mail. I think it´s great fun to send somebody a pretty postcard with a nice message to brighten someones day!

I´m a young professional, work in trading. My friends and relatives call me a combination of Bridget Jones and Carry of Sex and the City. I am very busy working, but to relax I cook and bake enormous cakes. And my biggest whish is to reincarnate as Nigella Lawson... but that will probably never happen.

Love arthouse movies, Jazz music and a touch of Soul. The beach and mountains make me happy. I love to ski and lay on the beach with a great novel. My favourite novels are ´Extremely loud and incredibly close´ by J.S. Foer; 'An equal music' by V. Seth and Amberes by S. Marai. Great movies: 'As it is in heaven', 'Little miss Sunshine' and 'Le fabuleux destain d'Amelie Poulain'.

Other things I love, yearn or crave for:
Starbucks Coffee, Champagne, Real Italian Gnocci with truffle, Strawberries in balsamic vinager, smelly cheese, all biological food, running, playing basketball, cycling, picknicking in nature, art (favourites: Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Gustav Klimt and J.W. Waterhouse), visiting cities in other countries. I can recommend Budapest. It´s great! I love going to music concerts, opera and a day in sauna makes me feel like I´m walking on clouds.
