About Iris...

Hello,

I'm a 33-yrs old mom from the Netherlands. I have three beautiful children in the ages 6, 8 and 12. Here is a small impression of things I like and love:

I love to read a good book, watch a good movie, play with my kids, spend too much time on my computer, having a drink (or more) with friends, reading postcards, lying on my back in the grass looking at the sky on a beautiful summers day, watching the sea, being creative, mindbreaking games, jagermeister mixed with cola, looking at the stars, dreaming, fast cars, dreaming of a car, sending postcards, photography, silence, the buzz of talking people, candles, hot chocolate, flowers, smiling children, LIFE!

I would love to see more of the world and meet new people but that is just not possible. Someone told me about this website and I think it's great. Getting mail from all over the world sounds great. For now this is a great alternative for traveling.

Now that my kids are all going to school, I can work more. Maybe in a few years we can travel to all the places we might get cards from :).

I would love to receive cards that you would like to have yourself.
But if you really don't know: preferably something else than city views. I especially love cards that are weird or out of the ordinary. (Check my favourites; you'll get and idea of what I love).
Just came up with another suggestion, I love postcards with books on them and cards of ballerinas.

However the words on the back tell me more than the picture on the front.
If your language doesn't use the english alphabet, I would love it if you could write a little bit in your own language. (Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Russian, Arabic etc.)
