I'm Ian and I live in a small town near Leeds in northern England. My interests include travel and transport, reading (classic fiction, history and poetry) and cookery.

I am particularly interested in receiving cards showing landscapes or views of cities at night, works of art (particularly poster art)and portraits of artists and writers. But a picture of something in your town or city is always just as good- surprise me!

It's also fun if you can find a card which doesn't have writing on the picture side- I like to guess where my cards have come from when I pick them up off the mat!

There's very little I don't like to receive, but cute/funny babies or a lot of nudity aren't really my things- I'd rather just see something normal from everyday life.

I'm also particularly interested in North American sports (particularly MLB & NHL) after attending a couple of ball games while on holiday in Canada in recent years.
