About Hileira...

It may be not very surprising, being female and fascinated by stamps since preschool, that snail mail letter writing is one of my pastimes.

The profil above shows the Ganges delta.
Beside the brilliant, touched up colors and an affinity for West Bengal I chose that picture because aerial views are a personal highlight (and lighthouses too).

I love nature.
Skylines and landscapes of beaches or coasts, lakes, rivers, deserts, forests, swamps, plaines, hills, mountains, valleyes or wilderness are always a joy to see.

(Scenes of sunsets, sunrises and aurora borealis are impressive.)

Hardly surprising that gardening is another pastime.
Alas, the garden isn't spacious enough to creat a wonderful, relaxing park landscape or an arboretum.

Living in a village, city architecture is awesome (famous buildings, bridges, towers, skyscrapers and historical builings).

Holy sites and sacral buildings are inspiring.

Search machines are handy helpers to learn more about any image motifs on a postcard, especially when it's a cultural treasure like traditional art, clothes, archaeologic / historical place or a UNESCO world heritage site like Pamukkale or the Huanglong Valley.

I'm a bookworm that adores art nouveau and animals from anacondas to zebras.
To receive a card showing an animal that has its habitat in your country is a great pleasure.

Postcrossing is a wonderful way to walk through unknown territories, to discover plants & animals, for sightseeing and to dream.

Happy Postcrossing!
