Has been a member for 5 months (160 days).Temporary displacement -I owe 5 officials and a few forum cards - All these were addressed and stamped. I was supposed to take them to the post office however life hits us hard at different times. I had to quickly leave home so the cards sit on the table. Please forgive me, when things return to a normal kiel, I will be back in the house and will send them promptly. Again, I am sorry for the delays.
My love of Post Cards was sparked by my mother's own love for them. Her collection contain a few very special cards dating back to the turn of the 20th Century. Some of those cards actually record love notes from those who would be my great great grandparents. I have wonderful memories of time alone with my mother, looking at each, and hearing the stories of each card.
My plan is to use my participation in postcrossing to bring an awareness and love of post carding to my students as well as to some work in Geography, Math, and the Lanugage Arts.
While I am interested in all sorts of post cards - I would prefer that they are CLEAN and not suggestive in nature. Thank you

I love spending time outdoors (camping, walking the beach, hiking the mountain trails, biking), traveling, spending time with family, & Researching (medical, historical, geneological).
