About Kjell...

Hello, I am Harpseal.
I live in the middle part of Norway, this mountainous and sometimes cold, but still friendly, country.
I am a retired social worker, I worked mostly with providing work and activity for what I like to call unusual people.

My interests are photographing,(www.flickr.com/photos/imprez/) (www.wolfspan.com ) stamps, anthropology, eco-philosophy, trains and railroads, model trains, real trains and narrow gauge, trams and tramways..
I collect both stamps and postcards, especially with motives related to these topics. If you feel like it, you may also visit my small shop at www.zazzle.com/imprezmotives

You can watch some chosen postcards from my collection at this link https://picasaweb.google.com/100803719209981314145/UtvalgtePostkort#

I also worry about the way we are treating our animals, around the world. I think we sometimes are both cruel and cynical in the way we act against our animal friends. This goes for wild animals as well as the domestic ones.

Mahatma Gandhi once said that a country´s level of civilization can be measured by the way the inhabitans treat animals.
( So I use the opportunity to invite you to support your local voluntary pet and animal welfare workers )

I would like to receive postcards with:
Trains or railroads, locomotives...
Trams, tramways, streetcars...
Frogs, salamanders, toads, reptiles..
Turtles
Cows, especially original, old breeds
Water lilys and garden ponds, koi fish..

But I also would like to receive cards with motives from where you live, the nature in your country, something unusual, or anything, really..

But not to forget:
Mostly I think life is good :-)

Anyway, I am really looking forward to receive your postcard, and it´s also a pleasure to send, because the chance is that someone gets a little bit happy from receiving just my card. And perhaps bring a smile into someones face.
And I will smile and think of you, when I receive yours !
And that is nice vibrations around the globe ! !

Happy postcrossing, and lots of happiness to you !!
Greetings from
Harpseal.
