Hi all,

*Who am I?*
My name is Hanneke, I'm 38 years old, and I live in the Netherlands, with my 47 year old partner Rinse (please pronounce with the -se as an extra syllable: [RIN-suh] ;-))
We've got three cats, a kayak, a canoe and a motorcycle. We also love flying our kites. Fortunately, where we live we've got plenty of room to take out the motorcycle, the boats or the kites, so we are perfectly happy where we live!
I work with a large insurance company, where I am responsible for the insurances regarding personal liability and legal aid. Maybe to most people this sounds dull, but I really enjoy it.

*Travel*
Between 2000 and 2005 I've been to New-Zealand three times. From the very first time I was there, that beautiful country has settled itself in my heart. I'd love to go back there, and enjoy the people and the nature some more.
If we would ever win a grand prize in a lottery, we'd definately start travelling globally. There's so many great and wonderful places on this Earth, that we'd like to visit... From Central America to Asia, from Australia to Scandinavia... And even, if it were at all possible, I'd really like to watch the Earth from space. Alas, this will most likely not ever come true, but, hey, a girl can have her dreams, now can't she? ;-)

*Cards*
I suppose Postcrossing is a nice way to learn about places I'll probably never actually visit (assuming that grand prize won't ever really end up in my hands).
So, since the chances of me ever actually ending up where you live, are slim, I'd like to receive postcards that show me the things about where you live that I otherwise would have looked at. This means: scenery, nature or local animal, or cards with landmarks or important buildings. Or cards that show something about the history of the country/state/city you live in. Please don't send me the "funny" postcards like a completely black card stating "...(city)... at night" or stuff like that.
Oh, and if there isn't any info on the card about what is depicted on it, I'd appreciate a little explanation.
