I am a 72 year old grandmother who lives in Las Vegas.

I volunteer at a rescue shelter for cats--there are over 100 cats in the facility. You can see some of the cats at www.poppyfoundation.org if you are interested.

I prefer cards stamped with no envelopes. Please write your ID number clearly and not at the bottom of the card as it is often covered with postal imprints and very difficult to read. I like it when you include the date.

All cards are very well received, but if you would like some ideas Favorite postcards:

City views , especially streets, shops, steps, etc.
Countryside views, farms, mines, ski slopes, etc.
Rivers/lakes/beaches/harbors/waterfalls
Transportation
People
Animals/birds/fish
Toys/games

I try register all cards the day I receive them.

NOTE: Although I have declined to participate in private swaps, I have received several requests for specific cards. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate these requests. Also, I have received requests to register a card which I have not received. I prefer to have all my cards, both sent and received, scanned and on my wall. I cannot do this for cards not received. So, please do not ask.

In addition to my Las Vegas cards I also have cards from Europe, Middle East and Asia available to help fulfill your special "wishes". I try very hard to select just the right card for you. I really appreciate guidelines on your profile, it helps me make that special choice.
