Hi!

First of all, I love this concept! Real postcards instead of e-ones are so much more fun :D

I have studied American Studies (BA) and Translation (MA). I like to think my specialization is children's books and young adult novels.

I decided to do one more year of study, the educational master. This academic year I started teaching English at two schools in Rotterdam and I'm very excited about this. I think it is awesome work and I enjoy doing it. Because of me being a teacher, I am very interested in stories from teachers all around the world. Swaps would be awesome, not only to hear more about the profession, but also to share experiences and compare educational systems.

What do I do when I'm not teaching? I really love to draw and paint and, frankly, do anything creative. I also like to read, write and bake sweet things! Plus I'm a big USA fan. I just love that country :D

Oh, and I live together with my boyfriend, our cat Darwin (his idea, not mine...) and our rabbit Sammy :)

So! That's me in a fairly big nutshell!

I hope to receive some awesome cards from all around the world! As to which kind of cards: I'm an art buff, so anything artsy is always fun, children's illustrations in particular, but also animation and Disney related cards. I'm a big Disney fan :D but of course cards specifically about your country/city are also great.
