I am a 32 year old female from England who loves amongst other things......snailmail penpalling (female only), American country music, sci-fi, humour, cycling, travelling, sceanic places, taking photos of sceanary, driving cars and trucks, seeing other languages, wii games, collecting stamps and collecting postcards, quotes, blue, black, white, yellow, snow, log cabins, sea, sand and sunshine.

I love to see the postcard picture and the stamps that have been used on the post I receive. I like buying postcards when I travel and my family also buy them for me when they travel. :o)

So, after being told about "Postcrossing" by a friend, I thought I would join up here and hopefully enlarge other peoples collections of postcards and also see what arrived on my doormat from across the world.

I am happy to receive postally used (written on and stamped) or unused postcards (unwritten and in an envelope). So surprise me! :o)

My favourite postcards, if I had to chose some subjects, would probably be:
* Views of places / Tourist postcards :
Sceanic, beach, sea, countryside, mountain or city/town.
* Country map cards :
Flags or Maps
* Asia languages (Characters on postcards like Japanese, Chinese etc)
* Japanese prefecture cards :
Gotochi/postacollect
* Animals :
Huskies/Alaskan Malamutes, Alaskan Klee Kai, Wolves, Whales, Dolphins, Polar Bears, baby animals, Ferrets, Tigers, Domestic Cats and Dogs.
* TV shows/Cartoons/Movies :
Hawaii 5-0 (new one), Supernatural, Greys Anatomy, A Town Called Eureka, Haven, CSI:NY, NCIS, NCIS:LA, Star Trek, Stargate Atlantis, Torchwood, Dr Who (David Tennant Dr), Mentalist, Harry Potter, Avatar...
* Others :
Hello Kitty, Tatty Teddy (Blue patch bear), Diddl etc
* Country Music :
Johnny Cash, The Highwaymen, Alabama, Shania Twain etc

Having said all that though, I just love getting postcards, so I am sure that whatever you chose to send me will be great.
However, I am not so keen on advertisement cards.

If you do not know what to write - how about:
* Writing a quote, a saying or a section of your favourite song lyrics in your native language with the English translation
* Tell me about you, your hobbies, pets, where you live, your favourite place/book/film/tv/music etc
* Give me some film, book, tv, music or place/sightseeing recommendations
* I love humour, so what about telling me a joke?
