I study in the city of Trier 150 km away, which is Germanys oldest city founded by the Romans.
As well its famous for the birthplace of Karl Marx, whose great social theories were unfortunatly misused in history.
Therefore Trier is a very touristic and intelectual City, thats where I like it for ....but as well it is a bit provincal.
Visit Germany !

Recently i was for an exchange-semester in Riga/Latvia. Riga is an exciting and beautiful place. Latvia is independent since 1991 before it was part of the Sovietunion. The economy has grown fast but too fast for most of the people and there are still social problems as poverty and alkoholism.
I am studying Tourism-Geography and I have been to many places all over the world and I am very interested on postcard from nice landscapes and cities in your area where you recommend me to travel to.
