About Flandria...

Hello everyone, I live in the Netherlands' best en nearly biggest city: Rotterdam. It's famous for its harbour, but we also have nice modern architecture, musea, theatres and a zoo. I work with a company engaged in technology, but I do administrative work. I do not own a car, which is considered pretty weird here! I am not very "green" though, although we do do some recycling (even our pet rabbits are second hand - from the rescue centre...)

I have three children; two of them also got into postcrossing.

I am looking forward to receiving your postcards! I do not have any preference as to what card to receive (greeting cards are also fine with me).

I would appreciate it if you could also write something on your postcard. If you don't know what to write about, you could write about yourself (e.g. what kind of work/study you do, whether you have a family, what your likes and dislikes are, your hopes and dreams for the future etc.), your educational system (e.g.: what would a school day for my children aged 9, 13 and 15 look like, how would they travel to school, what subjects would they have to take, how many children would be in their class, how many hours of school would they have each week, how long would their holidays be etc.) or your country (I can google, of course, but perhaps you've got something you think I really should know or a myth to unveil).

By the way, if I don't upload your card immediately; that's for practical reasons: I can't always scan. I will do so in the end, so at some point of time your postcard will be in my wall.
