About Hilpi...

Hello, greetings from Finland! I work as a Specialist on the Western coast of Finland. I am a 53 years old cancer survivor. I am married and have three kids. My work is about culture, and our family likes traveling. My special interest is folklore in all aspects - clothing, decoration, arts, whatever - and another passion is historical sights, and religious buildings and places, also pilgrimage. Everyday life all over the world is one of my interests too, as well as cuisine and gardening! I am also interested in your local wild plants and animals. Seasonal greeting cards are welcome. I adore everything OLIVE and a card with something to do with olives certainly makes my day! Likewise, I cherish beautiful details in architecture, such as doors and windows, and roofs. And, I love stories and fairy tales. Most of all I am passionate about old books and bookshelves! I will be most happy to receive a post card on whatever other theme you may choose, too, because most of all I am interested in you!

The websites beneath are strongly protected - please drop me a line and tell me your ID so I can invite you! :) All new friends are most welcome! :)

Expired postcards:
I have recently sent 2nd postcards to those who have not received the first postcard I've sent - if their accounts have been active still. Everyone's not, which is understandable but sad. This is such a great hobby!
