About Fernando...
Some might say the art of postcard writing is dead, but after stumbling onto this site I found out that I am not the only one that finds joy in taking time to put the pen to paper.
I previously worked in a bank but gave that up about 5 years ago as it was slowly driving me insane.
Now I am a primary school teacher and I get to work with the most amazing kids (whom I totally adore). I try to inspire them to become motivated and influential people. I like to take the cards to school and share them with the kids. It's turned into a very good teaching tool. It helps broadening a lot their horizons (mine too).
I believe in democracy, freedom of expression, freedom of religion, in total extinction of violence against children/ women/ elders. I believe in a better world.
:)
Well, here's a postcard suggestions list:
-non-touristy ones
-vintage
-maps
-buildings: churches, castles, palaces, cathedrals etc.
-black & white
-portrait of people (anyone)
-hand tinted (would be a treat!)
-art masterworks
-multiples (many small items on a single card)
-Adult themed
-cool ad cards related to music, festivals, film, museum, art, culture, or cute things
-cards in envelopes are welcome too.
But if you don't have any of these, dont worry! I have no business making demands and you have every right to simply disregard all I've written and send me whatever you please. I appreciate the fact you have taken the time to buy a card and a stamp so thank you in advance.
Like most on here, I would love it if you wrote more than just "happy postcrossing".
Thanks and may all our cards always reach their destinations!
:)
P.S.:
If you collect postcards, I can send you my repeated ones!
