About Fernando...

'Friendship multiplies the
good of life and divides the
evil.'
- Baltasar Gracian

I have always had a fondness to postcards, and would pick some up here and there on my road trips with the hopes I could write something inspiring and joyful to the receiver.
I'm an everyman guy in my early 60's who believes in democracy, who rejects political agents who deny the global warming and/or spread fake news. A guy who fights against prejudice/violence, especially those motivated by race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion or ideology. In short: I believe in a proactive convivence.
I appreciate these, but really, anything goes! After all, this is a family of friends sending warm greetings to one another:
√ a card from your last vacation (any country)
√ anything historic, retro, vintage, antique, memorabilia, nostalgia
√ Christmas postcards in OCT, NOV, DEC, JAN
√ works by leading photographers/ illustrators/ painters
√ national or city parks
√ picturesque houses facades(any country)
√ antique transports
√ card from museum shops, from anywhere
√ reprints of old advertisements or posters
√ If you want to put a new back on a card you received, I’m happy with that environmentally friendly option, too
√ enveloped cards are ok too (please send me one used stamp inside it)
√ I welcome cards stained / yellowing by antiquity
IMPORTANT: please save homemade, self-printed or ad postcards for someone who would appreciate them more.
The back of the card? Tell me anything! Tell me about your breakfast, share a favorite quote. Recommend a book or movie you think I might like. Draw a picture! Make it personal, make it all about you and your home. 💌. Those are always fun to see.
