One of my long-time hobbies is collecting stamps from all over the world, not for their value, but for what they say about the countries where they come from. So, if you send me a card, you can do me a BIG, BIG favour by putting a stamp on it that tells something about the country where you live: its cities, people, wildlife, art, national holidays, history, heroes... I do the same with the cards that I send.
The same applies to the postcards: I mostly enjoy seeing the place (city, region) where you live.
Apart from that, I enjoy connecting with other people through postcrossing. I'm not naive, but I think it does help world peace.

PS: PLEASE avoid adhesive stamps, because I cannot get them off the card!!
