About Elizabeth...
I live in Michigan, also known as the Great Lakes State because it is surrounded by the largest group of fresh-water lakes in the world!
I am 29 years old and I create and sell cloth toys and books for children on my own website. You can check it out if you like. :)
I also like reading, stamp collecting, pen-paling, animals (especially dogs, birds, and wild cats) and history.
Please, teach me something! ;) I would love to learn something about your country, its history, its famous quotes poems or sayings - or you could write and translate a message in your native language for me and I would really appreciate it!
If it's any help, some of the cards I like to collect are:
~ Beautiful views of landscapes or cities in your country
~ A mapcard of your country
~ Animals or birds native to your country
~ traditional/national/native dress
~ Beautiful views of landscapes or cities in your state (especially if they have the name of the state on the front)
~ U.S. State Mapcards
~ U.S. State Animals
~ U.S. State Birds
~ Big cats (lions, leopards, cougars, etc.)
~ UNESCO WHS
~ Multi-view cards with 20 views or more
~ A card about the history of your country
~ Snoopy (from Peanuts)
~ Tigger (from Winnie the Pooh)
~ Mutts (the comic strip)
~ "Did you Know?" cards (the ones with interesting facts written on the front like this one -http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/CA-72481)
(I usually don't enjoy ad/free cards though, unless they show a topic on my wishlist. And, if you send me a handmade card, please send me one that you would be happy to receive yourself.)
Or you can also look at my favorites wishlist on my postcards wall (and, of course, if you send me one of the favorites on my wall I will send you a thank you card back :) but, of course, those are all just suggestions. The time and thought you put into selecting or writing on a card is more important to me than the card itself. :)
Best Wishes from Michigan and Happy Postcrossing!
