About Claudia...

Hi there!

I'm Claudia, 26 years old. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but my parents come from Indonesia.

I studied Composition at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and Filmstudies and Musicology at the University of Amsterdam. Now I work for myself as a composer of contemporary classical music, varying from solo instrument to orchestra, from professionals to amateurs, and from music theatre on location to the concert hall. My main instrument is the harp. I can play some piano and I recently started to play the Indonesian gamelan. Favourite composers include Mahler, Xenakis and Vivier.

Besides music, other (worldwide) interests of mine are:

- languages
- poetry
- art
- Indonesia
- food
- politics
- religion/spirituality
- philosophy
- history
- travels
- basically anything if described with passion

As for your choice in postcards, I'd say: surprise me! I can appreciate seasonal cards if it's the holidays, and send me a birthday card if it's that awkward time of the year (May 9th). But of course I find it more interesting if you'll send me a card with some typical stuff of you and/or your country.

If you really don't know what to write, here are some suggestions:
* text (please: native and English) of a folk song (if possible with some music)
* a poem or saying from your country (again: please translate it)
* a recipe of one of your favourite dishes (preferred from your country)
