Hi everyone! I'm Ditte, 26, and I live in the Netherlands. I study history - hopefully graduating in a couple of months - and love all things cultural. I read an awful lot, love to be out wandering through cities or nature alike, enjoy films, music, and photography.
I read about Postcrossing in my favorite magazine and registered as soon as I was near a computer! I simply love old-fashioned mail, I think it's really a pity that it's getting so much out of use. Don't you love the nineteenth-century style letters, without an envelope but just folded together and sealed?
A friendly letter of postcard always cheers up my day, and I love to receive cards that show me a bit of your life, your country, or your culture. I'm looking forward to sending and receiving! :)
I like all kinds of cards, but if I have to give a preference: I particularly like cards with historical maps, black/white photography, or a piece of art (a national master piece would be cool!) Also, anything historical is good! :)
