About Dinis...

Hello there! :)

My name is Dinis and I live in Alcobaça, Portugal, a little provincian town with some rate of tourism, not so far from the sea and beaches.

I have joined this website because I feel that is is so great to get to know these little things and details about other cultures, people, countries and languages!
Swapping postcards seems so amazing and we can keep andcherish the ones that we receive! I keep mine in a book-box, specially decorated for the postcards. :)

I'm a Languages & History student and I really like learning and knowing some small useful things from other languages, as well as their culture behind it - that's why I think postcards, for example, are a great way of sharing this and enjoying the share.

I would love if you would send a little phrase in your language or just something that speaks from your town or country.. something that leaves a little memory of where it came from. :)
Please write the date in which you wrote the postcard and, if you can, the weather at the time, I really like seeing that.

About the kind of postcards that I like.. well, I like basically anything:
- Historical places or any artistic view of those;
- City view(s) and popular spots in your city/cities in your country;
- Multi-views from the whole country (I really like this one);
- Mottos, sayings, proverbs.. anything "typical" with the language of where you're from;
And many more, I'm really not picky and I love absoluely anything that you send me, trust me.
I upload every single postcard that I receive, so that others can see it as well.
Stamps are really beautiful and send as many or as beautiful as you can, please.
If it matters, my favourite colour is definitely blue.

A big thank you, merci, gracias & obrigado to everyone around the world.
Postcrossing has been one of the happiest hobbies I've had in my life, so I do my best over here.

Thank you for reading this, have a beautiful day.
Happy Postcrossing! :)
