About Heidi...

Hello!

I'm 30 something years old. I'm a sewer, visual merchandiser and make-up artist, but at the moment I'm studying as my major Craft Sciences and minor Swedish language at the University of Helsinki. I'm going to be a textile craft and Swedish teacher some day, hopefully. I have dreamed about it since I was 8. I have a dog, who makes me walk outside every day.

I love to read books (especially thrillers) and my passion is knitting (I'm on Ravelry with the same name) and I'm crazy about yarns :)
Despite the knitting and other textile crafts, I love to create everything with my hands; paint, draw, photograph, design etc. I would love to do something athletic (swimming!), but it seems that I don't have time for that. Except those walks with my dog.

I love everything related to New York (haven't been there, though) and my favorite colors are red and turquoise. Besides all the things I wrote above, I'm interested in ALL kind of art (including graffities and tattoos). But first of all, I'm fascinated by people and their thoughts, different countries and languages.

I would want to travel, but my economic situation isn't its best at the moment (surprise, surprise), so I enjoy of armchair traveling through postcrossing :)

Cards, which I would LOVE to have:

- handmade
- any art, I love work by Dali
- old time -stars (Audrey Hepburn is my favorite)
- vintage
- knitting patterns
- advertises and styles from the begin of ages to 80's (pin-ups, posters, people, buildings...)
- related to New York
- b&w
- map
- something weird (I have a great sense of humor)
- colorful things
- beautiful landscapes/buildings (I'm not a big fan of them, but it's very interesting to see different places on the earth, too. Especially architecture)
- calendar
- bookmarks

Or anything that you consider beautiful and interesting. Everything makes me happy! On the card you can write about things you like, your day, your country, recommend a book/movie, anything! If you like, you can write in German or French and of course in Swedish. Otherwise it would be cool if you write something with your own language (with a translation).
I will register every card, that I get :)

Have a great day!
