Hi from Laatzen (close to Hannover - Germany),
I'm living with my wife, a little daughter (obviously the nicest and most beautiful girl in the world ;-) and our dog "Max" in this very nice little town.
I stumbled into postcrossing through one of my other hobbies: Geocaching. One of my geocaching buddies has activated the PC/Twitter integration. Whenever he sends or recieves postcards, i get the information in my timeline. After several of those tweets, i got a postcrossing account too...:-).
My favorite postcards:
*anything related to kites
*aircrafts and ships
*all sort of technical things e.g. steam machines, vehicles etc.
*black&white (don't need to be vintage cards)
*reproductions of vintage advertising
*aerial city views
*postcards of your hometown
