About Cobi...

I used to be a 'busy bee' multitasking and independent woman, 59 now and living together with a nice and caring man. I am mother of two fantastic children ( 28 and 20 now) and besides that there are the children of my man, so I have a nice and growing family: lovers, of the kids, are coming and staying and even the first grandchildren.
Since a 1st hip-operation april 2007 I am rather disabled, not capable to work and at home with lots of pain and medication.
A 2nd operation did not bring the solution I hoped for, so I am still at home and rather limited in a boring life. There is a positive side too: the fact that I cannot work at the moment brought me the possibility to move (febr. 2011) from the centre of the big city of Rotterdam to a small town nearby the North sea, we feel privileged and we really enjoy our new house and the proximity of the sea and the beach. Almost every day I go to watch the sea, which I like in all its shapes, depending on the weather.
With my postcrossing membership, I can look forward to a little outside-world in my mailbox; many cards, no matter what kind of image, above all I appreciate the fact of sending me a greeting and cause me a smile. Thanks in anticipation.
Last but not least: sending as well as receiving a postcrossing-card gives me a positive feeling of being in touch with the whole world.
