Hi postcrosser,

my name is Simon. I am a 38 year old guy born in Cologne. After 29 years living there I decided to move to the Saarland. There I met my wife. She piqued my interest for postcrossing.

My English is not good, so if something here is not right I would be grateful for information :=) .

I like listen to music sometimes when I am relaxing on my couch. I have many favourites, there are Eric Clapton (especially Cream), Jack Johnson, Schandmaul, Depeche Mode, etc..... I always look for new music artists so if you know a good one I would be appreciative you to send me a proposal.

My interests are:
- playing games, no matter whether board games or
computer/PS3 (my favourite electronic games are role playe games); for example I love Never winter nights,
Dungeon Master (an old game), Diablo 3, little big planet but even Magic the gathering, Talisman, Dominion and Atmosphere (also an old game ^_^).

- geocaching with my wife or/and friends (if weather is good). We started 2011 with our smartphone and a pen. We buyed 2013 a GPS and a big equipment to cache, next year we will start to created our own caches - we are already excited. Generally we have to go out if the sun is shining. After going alone at first months more and more of our friends joined bit by bit.

- watching good movies or series. My favourite movies are Harald and Maude, Shine (with Geoffrey Rush), the fountain, Scent of a Woman but also Transporter, Ice Age, the big lebowski...and so on, it's too much and draggy to numerate all of them. My favourite series are Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Castle, the mentalist, once upon a time, Being Erica, , Elementary (sherlock is a little bit better in the moment) and more....

- I would like to get postcards which you like or also with pictures of: buildings looking interesting, culture of your town or land, Eric Clapton/Ginger Baker/Jack Bruce, Roy Gallagher and everything i wrote here that I enjoy.

I do not like:
- stupid babbling people / if they deal superficially with others. There are too many people who waste her time with talking about nothing or pretend interest to someone else. I don't like this, but this is certainly my own problem/opinion, however it characterizes me.

- fever/hectic pace. Life is not long enough, too much things on this world are bullshit and unnecessary. So f...ing why spending plenty of time for things I hate or don't want to do.

- some kind of sports, like soccer or golf. But watching such games I do not like can be great if I make experience with friends or went to games with my friends. The live atmosphere on games is different and so it can make me fun.

I register postcards as quickly as it is possible for me, preferably at the day I pick them up.
