I am retired. I love photography, reading, writing and quilting.I would be interested to receive cards that tell something about the place they came from: history, art, music, geography....just about anything interesting. I love bright colours and I love surprises. It is also very nice to receive beautiful postage stamps.
I get to be a snowbird this winter so don't be surprised to receive a postcard from somewhere other than my hometown!
PLEASE, no homemade cards or plain cardboard! No free or advertisement cards! I would appreciate your own artwork - sketching, drawing, painting, photography...
PLEASE do not ask me to re-send a card if it arrives in less than perfect condition. I walk each postcard to the mailbox myself, so I know it leaves my hands in the best possible shape. As I'm sure you understand, I do not have any control over the postal service.
PLEASE do not ask me to register a card that I have not received. I will not respond to that request.
