About Milja...
Hi!
I'm a weird 17 year old girl from Finland. I like to listen to music all the time. Mostly I listen to a bit harder music, like: Opeth, Anathema, Noumena, Agathodaimon, Before the Dawn, Riverside etc. But I also like very much The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd... I love to go into the live gigs of my favourite bands.
I just moved, so Postcrossing was bit of a time on pause, but now I'm back on business!
I draw, write and read stuff :) My favourite authors are maybe Shane Dunphy, Torey Hayden, Juha Itkonen, David Eddings, Ian McEwan etc. I also like to read some horror in English, mainly vampire stories... (Bram Stoker's Dracula is waiting next to my bed.) and Don Rosa's Donald Duck stories are great!
I'm currently studying in High School for the second year. :)
Here's some list of the types of cards I'd like, but of course it's up to you what you'd like to send for me :)
- Black and White cards (meaning mainly photographic)
- Photographs of/with people or animals (maybe doing something)
- Photographs of nature (single view)
* sunsets
* night views
* flowers or other plants/trees/berries
* dragonflies (my summerjob concerned studying them, so it'd be nice to see the dragonflies of your country)
- Photographs related to water
- Cards related to music
- Homemade cards made with thought
- Cards with strong colors (I love the black-red combination)
- Weird things are also welcomed
On the whole I love photographing (you may have noticed already). So any card with some very nice pic is gladly welcomed! Especially I love close-up photographing (possessed macro user).
And as I was in Ireland for a week and fell in love with the country, anything concerned with Ireland would be greatly welcomed. :>
So what to write? The most I'd like to hear about people's music taste. Or just tell me what you're going to do the next day or maybe next weekend. I'm interested in other peoples lives and thoughts, share what you'd like to. I'm very open minded and won't be offended very easily! Tell me any weird thing you've realized about life or people. :)
Bye!
P.S. If you'd like to see how the city, where I live, is like, go see this great video: http://neokoo.net/28-hours-in-jyvaskyla/
I don't personally know the maker but the video pictures this city really well.
