Though currently living in a small town I have big city dreams! I am an avid traveler and absolutely love learning about new cultures. I have a special affinity for anything related to Africa. After teaching in Ghana (a country in Western Africa) for four months, my was life was forever changed. Additionally, I am a huge "bookworm" and always have a new book on hand. I am especially fond of travelogues, National Geographic, and Lonely Planet. Don't ask me favorite read because it changes on a daily basis! :D

In my spare time I love to be outdoors. I am forever hiking, camping, and exploring new state parks. I don't need much to make me happy on one of these trips- just a sturdy pair of hiking boots and my trusty point-and-shoot camera. I have such a high appreciation of nature and the seasons.

Please send me something YOU would like to receive and I'm sure I'll like it too! My favorite type of cards are unusual ones, as well as, self made (ie, your photos printed onto postcards) or handmade cards. I find them so special. The only thing I ask is that you please don't send any advertisement or free cards though. Also, my apologizes, but at this point I am not able to upload any photos of cards I send and receive. If you could please upload these photos I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much!
