About Christian...

Hi, my name is Christian, I live in Vienna, but grew up in the south of Austria, close to the Italian border. That's why my avatar shows one of the mountains there.

I'm interested in travelling, I like to go to the theatre, opera and musical. And I love reading, especially thrillers and crime stories.

It's totally up to you which card you choose for me, but I will be very happy when it has a relation to your country or the place where you live, so a nice typical tourist foto postcard showing a sight of your area (maybe a less known "hidden gem" with a short explanation) or a landscape or local wildlife will be great. And I'm really not sure why so many people say NO to free or advertising cards, they are always welcome to me (actually they are my #1 preference). And if you have a nice stamp (or even more) right at hand, stick it on the card! I appreciate EUROPA stamps very much!

What's more, I would love to read a personal message from you beyond "Happy Postcrossing" or "Hope you like this card". Everything will be better than these neutral slogans, e.g. what I can see on the card, why you have chosen it, what is the book you are currently reading or what was the latest play you saw in theatre or opera or anything else you want to tell me.

Nevertheless, if possible please:
➜ without envelopes (I prefer my postcards as nature intended, any scrapes and scars from the post just add to their character)
✖ not much bigger than 10 x 15 cm (you help me to store your beautiful card in a proper way)

But most important: have as much fun in sending me a postcard as in receiving one yourself! Above all postcrossing should bring a lot of fun in posting cards as well as in receiving them!

Those cards that I list as favorites are ones I've already got and enjoy very much. My most favourite received card: https://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/AU-689111 I love that card!!!

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and to send me a postcard. Please write the date when you post it on the card!

PS: Dear Chinese, Russian and other postcrossers from countries that don't use latin characters, please add the Chinese or Cyrillic version to your address to improve the chances for the cards sent to you to arrive at your mailbox. Lots of my cards to these countries disappear - most of which have no address in your letters which may be the reason why your post companies find it difficult to deliver?
