Hello everybody :-)

My name is Jana Markéta. I am 25 years old student. I live with my family in a small village near Prague, called Velké Přílepy. I study at the ITC, department of biochemistry and microbiology.

I am interested in reading books, movies and music. I adore fantasy/sci-fi books, for example by Tolkien, Lewis, Eddingse, Hamilton and many many others. I love czech folk music (Čechomor, Klus, Kryl atd.), and metal bands like Nigthwish. My big hobbies are history and travelling - I love history of European aristocracy and WWII.
I am a Catholic girl. So, everything in the context of my religion is more than welcome.

My favorite postcards are:

♣ pictures from your city or country (maps, interesting buildings, streets, parks etc.)

♣ heroes from books (especially Harry Potter, characters from books by Tolkien, A. Lindgren,Tove Jansson, Lewis, Pullman, Gaiman, Sapkowski, Pratchett, Eddings and others fantasy writers)

♣ fantasy characters (FAIRIES - I love flower fairies by Cicely Mary Barker, elves,unicorns, dwarfs, knights, wizards, vampires, werewolfes, devils and many others) and view from fairytales (I love it)

♣ interesting historical character like royal families and aristocracy (empress Sissi, British royal family - wedding postcard with Princ William and Kate Middleton, members from imperial Russia and other)

♣ Images of saints, angels and other religious images (Jesus Christ, Our Lady and Saints) - it's very important to me

♣ historical things (especially clothes and furniture) and VINTAGE cards (with little children and angels are my favourite)

♣ architecture (castles, ruins, interesting buildings)

♣ your culture heritage (something special from your country)

♣ Nice painting and photo cards (old photography especially from 19. century and II. world war. And photos of people with interesting lifes (maybe Anne Frank, Edita Stein and others)

♣ If you can, PLEASE send me a CHRISTMAS CARD (I love one with angels and vintage cards) and Birthday cards in June ;-) And other wishes card for other holidays (Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, in czech calendar I have name day on 24th May and other)
