She has been a member for 6 months (189 days).For me this is both a personal project and a shared one with my children (who learn at home) to get a little insight into different countries and cultures, and of course meet new people :-)
We hope in time to make an enormous collection of (varied) postcards in the future so are interested in receiving all sorts of cards from all over the world :-)
We'd love to hear about peoples lives, views and where they live so feel free to write a little too, if you want to.
Things of interest include:
drawing, painting, nature & the seasons, , history, museums, old buildings, gardening, reading, writing, laughing, StarWars and Dr Who (and other Sci Fi stuff), music, herbs, Moon, Sun, trees, rocks, animals, environment & social issues, home education, special education, paganism, cooking, loads more...so you shouldn't be short of ideas for postcards there ;-)
Also if you have any cards you think are too strange/weird/unusual for most postcrossing recipients, or home made/drawn we'd love to receive them as well. We love anything creative.
