Like most people, I like to receive mail that aren't bills ... so joining postcrossing was one of the best ideas I ever had :o)
First something about me : I am 34 and live and work near Belgium's capital Brussels. I love most furry and four-legged animals and am a cat fanatic : for almost two years now, I am being bossed around by two adorable yet devilish british shorthair silver tabbies who rule the house. I adore learning languages and am studying Japanese at the moment. Besides this, a lot of my time goes to (in random order) travelling, penpalling, swapping, cooking/baking, reading, TV watching, music listening, ...
As for the cards to send, I'll probably like anything you'll send but these themes will be particularly appreciated :
- vintage cards and photos
- art cards
- tourist cards from your area (it's aways nice to discover new horizons and see where I can go next on vacation :o))
- UNESCO sites
- architecture (buildings, skylines, ...)
- animals, preferably fourlegged and furry (please no bugs or spiders! - allowed exception: ladybugs/-birds and butterflies)
- holiday cards (especially local celebrations)
- humour cards
- hand made cards
- nature scenes
I don't mind ad card provided they are PRETTY and ORIGINAL.
As always the guideline is : SEND SOMETHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE YOURSELF.
You can send the cards just stamped or in an envelope, it's all OK.
