About Catherine...

My name is Catherine Elizabeth Gwen. My boyfriend and I like to buy souvenirs, such as keychains and postcards, on our excursions. He thought it would a good idea to send some of those postcards to others (because we always buy too many =P). We think it'd also be nice to receive postcards from around the world as a preview of places we'd might want to visit one day. So here's hoping we get some interesting postcards and stamps! =)

Please send me a standard size postcard (smaller than 11x15cm) with the name of the place on the front. Single view preferred, or showing at most two pictures. I would love it if you find a postcard with one of the following themes:

~ beautiful architecture: towers, lighthouses, bridges, castles, government buildings, religious buildings
~ natural wonders: mountains, waterfalls, islands, lakes
~ institutions of learning: universities, museums, libraries
~ UNESCO world heritage sites
~ science: neurology/neuroscience, genetics, medical professions, optics, robotics, astronomy
~ equines: horses, zebras, unicorns, Pegasus, centaurs

A matching stamp would make me even happier. If you can't find a postcard that matches my preferences, then surprise me with something you think would captivate my interest to travel to your city or country. Sometimes I receive a card that is even better than I hoped for. If I "favourite" your postcard, I will ask for your address to send you a card in reply as my personal thanks. =)

I DISLIKE holiday postcards (e.g., Christmas, Easter), photographs of people, cartoon cards, shape cards, homemade cards, oversize cards (i.e., larger than approximately 11x15cm), and cards without the name of the place on the front. I like to know where the card came from just by looking at it.

These are cards I have available for exchange. Send me a message if you are interested: https://picasaweb.google.com/108550852838739326246/Postcards and https://picasaweb.google.com/108550852838739326246/Postcards2. Most of the non-tourist postcards contain a matching stamp.
