About Heli...

My name is Heli. I am in my 50s and live in South-East Finland in a country cottage with my husband and 3 cats. One of them is a real computer terrorist just like my avatar. He loves to sit on my keyboard and tap his own paw marks onto my cards... :)

I love strawberry ice cream, cheese cake and strong coffee with plenty of milk. I love to sleep late on Sunday mornings and one my cats sleeps under my blanket tightly on my side which is very nice on cold winter nights but not so nice at summer. I like to read detective stories in bed and drink green tea several cups a day.

My interests:
- women (old and happy are my favourites)
- flower fairies
- irish woldhounds, cornish rex cats
- birds
- beautiful nature and small details (trees, rivers, mountains, lighthouses, bridges, windows, doors, gates, mailboxes etc)
- naive and romantic art (Fernando Botero, Carl Larsson)
- coffee and chocolate
- flowers, trees, beautiful garden
- comedy and humour, specially dry british
- Wallace and Gromit
- Jeeves and Wooster / House MD
- Harry Potter
- beautiful Russian metro stations
- moomin cards from Finland and other countries, too
- big size vehicles for my husband :D (old stylish cars, tractors and lorries are specially appreciated)
- Are there any cards of Lada (Zhiguli) or Nissan Micra?
- cats: Mutts, Garfield, paintings of Anna Hoellerer, photocards of cat statues etc

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NO viewcards of buildings.
Yes, I like cityviews if they have more life than just boring grey houses, ugly statues or empty streets.

I´m active also in postcrossing forum, so my card collections are growing rapidly. :D
To avoid dublicates you can check my received cards here:

My favourites show the cards which I would like to receive.
Please check for wanted cards here, too:

If it doesn´t cost you more could you please send your card in an envelope. That way the card is protected from scratches and I will be able to collect all the lovely stamps.
You can easily make an envelope from a piece of paper and tape. I often make them myself because I´m sure that the received will be delighted to get a pretty and unique surprise.

I would love to hear what is important in your card and why you have picked it. Please write few words about yourself and place where you are living or what you have done today. Or tell me what you usually do on Sunday mornings.

Or if you are not in a mood for writing, it´s perfectly ok to send a card unwritten in an envelope. Just slip a separate note into the envelope telling the card´s ID number and your username.
