About Gertrude...

Um... My name's Gertrude Hanson, I'm 20 years old. I've just finished a course in Art and Design and am hoping to find a job so I can save up to go into Graphic Design at University ^_^ If not that then I want to be a translator of some type, be it translating books or even being able to help two people communicate with each other ^_^

I love drawing and writing short stories. I'm mainly influenced by japanese manga and anime styles, I'd love to go to Japan especially during the cherry blossom viewings.

I love learning about different languages and cultures so if you don't know what to talk to me about you could write something in your first language (with English translation please ^_^) or tell me the latest book that you are reading or have read (I may read it myself as I love to read) also any bands or music that you are into (If I can find new bands to listen to I'll get my friends into them as well :P)I love films as well so if you could recommend any that would be great

I like every postcard that has been sent to me (and will be sent) so I don't really have any preferences at the moment.
