About Carime...
You can visit my favourites cards at postcards wall to see what I love: http://www.postcrossing.com/user/CarimeF/gallery/favourites.
See also my received cards, to check if the card you want to send me it's not repeated (I received 2 cards that I already had in one week, I actually became sad.)
Hints: I like ART, OLD-STYLE, VINTAGE, BLACK&WHITE and VERY COLOURFUL (in bright colors) cards. And don't be afraid of sending me homemade, awkward, nasty or funny cards too.
• Please, NO MULTIVIEWS = 2, 3 or 4 pictures in one card (I can't see well any of them, so I REALLY REALLY REEEALLY don't like this type of card). I also hate names of locations on the front side of the card, it's lame. If you only have these types, you can make me a card, I prefer.
• Please, (PLEASE, for the love of God!) NO ENVELOPED CARDS, no matter what, don't put the card in an envelope. I really enjoy postcards with a LOT of stamps, but I don't collect them separately;
• Please, put the DATE on the card (And if it's not asking too much, it would be nice if you tell me the temperature too);
Thanks for reading this, I know it seems boring, but it's just for avoid disappointments, we postcrossers know how a bad card can break a heart.
More tips:
>>> Old movies posters, misty landscapes, paintings, space views, graffitis, book shelfs, mailboxes, dirty and underground places, doors & windows, photo of stamps, parks, old cities, inside view of old houses, subway & trains, old-ageds, super colourful sunsets, single trees (covered with snown, with colored autumn leaves or vivid green), are examples of what for sure delights me. <<<
In general, I like what's unusual: different angles, situations, places... Nothing against traditional landscape cards (I like them very much too!), I just don't make them a standard. Why not diversify? Don't be shy, get crazy with my card. :)
"I like pretty much any type of postcard since they are always special in their own way." -Paulos's words-
