About Christine...

** I would really appreciate it if you could help me out with a linguistics study I am currently doing. In your card, could you please phonetically spell out how you would pronounce the word "SAMOSA" in an English sentence? For example, I would pronounce "ABOUT" as A-BOWT, but another Canadian might pronounce it as A-BOOT or A-BOW-OOT. If you know IPA, great! If not, just like my examples above would be fantastic. Thanks!! **

Hi!! I am a high-school teacher from near-Toronto, and I enjoy receiving postcards to be connected to the rest of the world!

Postcards I would adore:

* cards related to LANGUAGES and WORDS (I specialized in linguistics);
* cards related to LITERATURE and WRITING (I love to read and write);
* cards with COFFEE or other DRINKS (I'm addicted to coffee);
* cards with FOOD (I love to eat);
* cards with any type of MAP or FLAG on them (country, city, subway system, hiking trail, timeline, etc.);
* cards with limited-edition STAMPS.

Please do not send anything obscene/rude. Send only cards you would like to receive yourself.

Also, if you would like to send a nice bookmark in lieu of or in addition to a postcard, that would be most welcome :)

Need a venting post or just someone to write to? Send me a note sharing your dreams, triumphs, fears, or frustrations ... I'll write you back!

Feel free to request a private swap from me. E-mail me at cdhernandez0828@gmail.com for my address. I will gladly await a postcard from you, after which I will send you one from me posthaste!

Happy Postcrossing! Thank you, in advance, for putting a smile on my face with your postcard.

Thank you. Maraming salamat po. Merci beaucoup.

One last request, if I may ... Baby dust from all of you would be greatly appreciated. There is something inherently beautiful about positive thoughts and well wishes from around the world travelling to find me. Thank you :)
