There's few things in the world that will move me to tears, and a 'Butterfly Kisses' song is one of them, although I have many other favourite songs. I am 28 and I love living my life. I tend to live my life a million miles an hour but I always have room to make new connections and send a couple of postcards. Just like most creatures on this planet, I'm a warm blooded mammal. I have a sunshine and sunflower personality, laced with enough barbed-wire to make it more interesting. I am 28 and I love living my life. I am whole-hearted and loyal and I believe in all the things people these days don’t, like God and his unconditional love and forgiveness, peace, happiness and mercy. They’re there, even if we refuse to see them. I love chocolate and happy endings, the smell of the rolls baking in the oven, freshly cut grass and summer rain in the mountains and I so love to sit with a postcard from somewhere around the world, and get lost in the image, imagining myself there. I adore the sea! Every piece of it. All the time. I am hooked on postcards and love reading what is written on the back so please tell me what is on your mind, share your secrets with me, or send me your favourite recipe or write down a love verse for me, I will love it. Seize the day, savour the moment...
When it comes to postcards, I prefer single-view postcards and here is the list of my favourites:
1). Countryside related postcards, such as:
• old cottages
• doors and windows (with some nice details)
• fields with poppy flowers, lavander, sunflowers, hay...
• bicycles (with some nice details)
• different seasons
• cherry blossoms
• aurora lights
• windmills
2). Seaside related postcards, such as:
• lighthouses
• coast and beaches
• sunsets and sunrises
• piers
3). UNESCO and postcards on tentative list, such as:
• old town areas with old architecture
• castles and wall ruins
• old bridges
• places of worship
• nature reserves and islands
• national parks with animals
• street views
4). Postcards with people from your country, such as:
• going about their everyday business
• wearing national costumes
• selling food at the local markets
• doing the traditional art work
• working in the fields
5). Postcards of animals, such as:
• native animals of your country
• domesticated animals: donkeys, goats. sheep, cows, ducks, geese
• pet animals: cats and dogs
6). Disneyland postcards, such as:
• Disney castles
• Disney landscapes (BUT NOT DISNEY CHARACTERS)
7). Food related or recipe postcards.
PLEASE, don't send me handmade cards, adverts, cartoon characters, statues or typical city views with nothing beautiful and charming to see. Anything that is nice, cute and bright is something that will add some colout to my rather gloomy, tiny, little apartment and will also brighten up my day.
