About Sigrid...

Hello,

Notice: As I am absent from home for some time I only will be able to register your cards on week-ends. I'm sorry, when you have to a wait a bit until your card will show up here.

I live in a small town at the southern edge of Lueneburg heath in Northern Germany. I've got 3 grown-up children.
The idea of exchanging postcards with other people all over the world is very appealing, and as I cannot travel as much as I would like to, I think this to be a nice way to at least travel around a little ;-)

My interests are reading, music (classic mostly), art (impressionists), ancient history (my favorite is Egyptian history, 18th dynasty around Echnaton), walking, biking and a lot more. I love the nature around and my 2 dogs and nearly all other animals as well, my favourite animals besides my dogs are penguins, polar bears, platypus and capybaras (cards showing these are highly appreciated).

I love to get cards of the town or country you live in - especially towers and bridges, cards showing peintures of impressionists, cards with book-shells or libraries, or cards with my favourite animals as polar bear, penguin, capybara and platypus and other Australian animals. Please write a little bit on the backside, I love to read your cards, telling something about you, your live or just the temperature the time you wrote your card.

Cards I do NOT like so much are postcards with angels, kids, cats, puppies, flowers etc as well as kitchy cards or seasonal greetings (Christmas, Easter), and I'm afraid that handmade-cards are spoilt at me, but of course every card you choose to send me will be welcomed. If possible please don't use envelopes.

My thanks to everyone sending postcards to me!

happy postcrossing!
