Hello there,
My name is Anouk and i like to look for nice postcards, write, sent and recieve them... It is just so great to come home and find a card waiting for me on my doormat!
My interesst are:
Books: from Murakami to David Mitchell, Emily Dickinson and Michael Connelly.
Art: from Joseph Cornell to Edward Hopper.
Music: from Blue note Jazz to Pearl Jam and The Buzzcocks.
Movies: from the movies from The Brothers Coen and Hitchcock to After Life.
And the old musicals with Gene Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers.
I work at a Publishing House in Amsterdam wich i really love.
My favorite cards are of the things that interest me. And retro, vintage colourful (advertising)cards. Or Chinese/Japanese cards, or cards of old movie stars, like Audrey Hepburn for example. To be short, you can look at my favorites for the cards i like!
If somebody ever sents me a card with Calvin and Hobbes of from Joseph Cornell, i would be very grateful!
I am not to crazy about 'regular' cards; and cards with normal city views and multiviews.
And if not to much to ask with loads and loads of stamps on it, not for collecting but they cheer the card so much!
