Hello post-crossers.

I'm in my 60s, retired and flourishing. I spend my days reading (biographies and fiction); walking; photographing (plants and landscape details); keeping in touch with friends; volunteering at a nearby pre-school; researching the period of my mother's birth; writing (personal and a bit of paid professional); and struggling to learn Polish.If you speak Polish, please write in Polish to make me work hard to translate, and learn a bit more about this challenging language.

I live on the coast, in the middle of a national park, surrounded by lakes. Google map actually misplaces me - I'm a bit further south, between Tuross Head and Narooma.

My smallish garden is a jumble of rain-forest trees, planted by my partner and watered by my bio-cycle. (I'm no gardener, but I love my garden.)

I'm interested in any card you choose to send me. I like hearing about you and where you live and how you spend your day.I will particularly treasure any card you have made yourself.

If you want some ideas to guide your choice, try

* landscape, especially national parks

* art
* patterns (at the moment I'm photographing patterns in the cliff-face near my place; and one of my favourite cards is a pattern of brightly coloured letterboxes.)
