I live in Florida now, but lived in Colorado for 25 years before that. I was born & raised in Nebraska.

I have worked at the same company for almost 25 years and hope to another 5-8 years until I retire.

I love Baseball (Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox), history, the outdoors, hiking, cats (I have 2), dogs (none at the present time), hot air balloons, reading Jasper Fforde, Harry Potter, historical novels and non fiction/history.

I have traveled to Belize, Mexico, Canada (for business), and Europe. But I wouldn't say I am an experienced nor a well-traveled person. I'd rather go to the Grand Canyon in Arizona or see the giant Redwoods in California than go to New York City. I would like to see Boston and Washington DC for the history, Monet's gardens in Giverny, and the great Wall of China.

I have collected Postcards for as long as I can remember. I signed up on Postcrossing not only to add to my collection, but to meet new people from all over the world. I would always ask friends traveling to bring a postcard back to me from their adventures. It was always a surprise who would remember and who would forget.

I especially like postcards showing places, locations and ones that show something about the area.
