About Petra...

I was born on 14th of November 1988. The weather is quite cold and rainy in Finland in November, but still I love that month :) Autumn storms are great! I also like when it's snowing, and Christmas is my favourite holiday.

I finished my studies in senior high school/upper secondary school in June 2007 and now I study travelling in Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. I will be a Bachelor of Hospitality Management in December 2012.

I spent Sept 2009 - Jan 2010 in Scotland, Aberdeen as an exchange student. It was the time of my life, and I can honestly say that being as an exchange student really widens one's view about the world!

I'm interested in people, especially other cultures and languages. I have studied Italian at school years ago, but I really hope that one day I actually can speak Italian.
If you happen to be an Italian, it would be nice of you to write at least something in Italian so I can practice my "skills" :)

I draw a bit and read, and I like beautiful everyday things. And I also love old fashioned and/or black and white cards :)
Any cards related to mythology, dragons and such are welcome, and I love giraffes, so if you happen to find a card with a giraffe on it, I would be more than happy to receive it! ^^

It would be really nice if you wrote some words or expressions on your mother tongue on the card, because I like learning new words and expressions. And please put a translation on the card too, so I can understand the meaning :)

I'm also interested in other cultures' tales and stories one tells to kids. I'm sure every country has its own tales, or at least Finland has! :)

I'd really appreciate it if you send your card in an envelope :) This is only because of the Finnish winter and the snow...
